The Growl have once again chosen the Special Olympics as their 2006 charity orgnization.

After the 3rd goal of every game the Growl will take a collection for the Special Olympics. At the conclusion of every game the Growl will announce the 3 stars of the night and each Growl player announced will be awarded points to be tallied until the conclusion of the season. The player with the highest total of star cup points will present a check for the total collected throughout the season to the Special Olympics when they come to a late season home game.
